Finally. Mama sees how good Lacy and I are and lets us have access to the whole condo even when she goes to work. This is best. This way we can go into our cages or under the couch or bed or anywhere we want to go. Sometimes mamas can have smart moments.
Chasing Lacy around the condo is fun. She’s a fast runner. Then, things get complicated. She runs under the bed and I try to follow her. She whacks my nose with both her front paws. I quickly move clear of the bed and sit staring at the bed waiting for Lacy.
I hang out around the bed for awhile. Then I try to go under the bed, she attacks me again. I wait and wait for her to come out from under the bed. But she doesn’t come out. So, I give up and start to leave the room. Then, Lacy thumps her foot at me. Not once, but twice. I’m so confused. She doesn’t want me under the bed, she doesn’t want me to leave the room. What’s a boy to do?
Mama laughs and says that Lacy is just like grandma. What does this mean? Girls are so confusing.
Sometimes Lacy and I have fun with mama. Mama wants to leave the condo or go to bed. So she needs to put us in our cages. But we trick her and run under the couch.
At first she couldn’t figure out where we were. She “knew” we weren’t under the couch, because it was only an inch off the ground. After much looking though she figured out that we had to be under the couch.
Then it took her forever trying to get us out. Hee hee…
Lacy does speed figure-eights around the condo. That girl is fast. She’s running fast, then in the middle of the sprint she flops over on her side for a rest. She goes from 60 mph to 0 in one second. Okay maybe not 60 mph, but she is speeding along.
I run too. Though I don’t sprint or flop. I pace myself.

Last night the lights were off and mama was sleeping. Lacy and I were in our respective cages. When all of a sudden there was a big splash of water. Mama turned on the lights. (Humans can’t see in the dark like we can. Poor things.) Anyway, even though the water was attached to our cages and a couple of inches off the cage floor, Lacy was trying to stand on the edges and she fell in.
She got really wet. Mama got a towel to dry Lacy off. That girl didn’t want anything to do with the towel. She ran from mama. Mama was worried and told Lacy that she’d get sick if she didn’t get dried off. Girls!
That bunny girl does like to climb.
Here’ a picture of my cage with a handsome bun lounging outside of the cage. Lacy’s cage is identical. And her water bowl looks just like mine.
