Mama brought Midnight Lace “Lacy” home. She’s a 9 week old black and white Dutch bunny. She weighs about a pound. She’s so small compared to my impressive self (I’m over 3 pounds.)
I showed her who is boss by jumping on her and flattening her to the ground. Mama had to ruin everything by pulling me off, but at least Lacy knows I run this place.
Mama bought a new cage. Now I have two cages. I’m not sure why, but it’s cool to have two cages to lounge in. I get to pick whichever one I’m in the mood for. Mama even put a bowl of water and a lounging blanket in the new cage. This is the life. Though, I’m still lonely when mama is gone…
One of my sources reported that Aunt Tina is in big trouble. She took Posey (my kitty cousin) to Dr. Pursley to get her nails trimmed. Posey is very upset with her mama. Maybe Dr. P is upset too. I hear that Posey goes kind of postal at the veterinarian’s.
Anyway my mama trims my nails. It’s not that fun, but mama holds me and pets me while she cuts my nails. Oh yeah, and kisses on my head. I love all that.
Mama’s doing a much better job taking care of me. Though, she’s gone for hours and hours and she needs to give me more attention. I really love it when my nose is rubbed from the tip of my nose to behind my ears. And rubbing my cheeks feels so good. Mama should never stop.
She is getting better, but she is gone too much. Way too much.
