A new mama comes with the condo. She doesn’t have a clue about how to hold a bunny. I like to feel secure in her arms, but it ain’t happening. She may be trainable and she feeds me AND rubs me, so I’ll probably stick around.
Anyway, since, she ’s gone most of the day, it really is my place.
My new mama took me to the vet to see if I was fine. Of course, I’m fine. I could have told her that for free. Mamas! Then she took me to another place and well I won’t tell you what they cut off, but the meds weren’t bad. When I came to, I could stand. Mama thought I looked wobbly, but what does she know.
Does anyone else have problems with their mamas?
Wow. Instead of living in a backyard cage, I get an indoor condo of my own! There is a nice roomy cage for me with a water bowl, a food bowl, and lots of hay. On the floor of the cage is a nice, soft pad for me to lounge on.
And I get to run around the condo when the human mama is home. There are several litter boxes, lots of nice carpeting, wooden furniture, and books – lots to play with – more on that later. I can get under the couch and no one can get me.
My name is Teddy. I am a black and white Dutch bunny. Life with my bunny family is great. We are part of a 4-H project. That must make us special.
I love it when people come up to the cage and pet me. I make sure that I get in front of the other bunnies, so that I can get all of the love that I deserve. Okay, I need it bad.
Then, they start tearing my family apart. First the boys and girls are put into separate cages. Next a brother and a sister are taken away. Then one morning they come for me. This is very distressing. As they carry me away, I can hear my bunny mama thump her foot several times in protest, but she is ignored. Where are they taking me?

TeddyBear CondoBunny lived from April 19, 1995 to March 25, 2003. He was a black and white Dutch bunny He came to me at 3 months old. He knew his name was Teddy. Also, he knew he was a boy and that the pronoun ‘he’ was for him.
This is his story as told from his prospective.
